hello , we are not able to track the mails sent by the outlook mobile application in Hubspot… would like to know the process of capturing them.
Hi @Jyotshna,
That’s correct. The HubSpot sales extension is not supported for Outlook mobile applications.
If you still want to track emails, you would have to options:
- Use the BCC address in your Outlook mobile app to log (not track) the email: Log email in your CRM with the BCC or forwarding address
- Compose the email from within the HubSpot mobile app, not Outlook: Install the HubSpot mobile app
- Log into HubSpot via your mobile browser to send a tracked email
In other words, it’s not possible to compose a tracked email from the Outlook mobile app. Other users have requested this before: https://community.hubspot.com/t5/HubSpot-Ideas/Hubspot-plug-in-in-Outlook-mobile-application/idi-p/537338
The product team reviews these requests based on their popularity. I’d recommend upvoting and commenting. It’s also easier for others to find the suggestions and request if you accept my reply as a solution. (I’d appreciate it, too! It helps me allocate more time to helping HubSpot users in the community.)
Best regards!
But if we receive mail from the contact Hubspot app is no notification showing up the message shows as a new mail alert. This goes the same for the calling and the message if any prospect call back to us to the Hubspot number or message back we are not able to see the notification on the mobile app.
Hi @Jyotshna,
That’s perfectly understandable and I agree – but I’m not working for HubSpot and just presenting you with the facts and options. I’d recommend using the BCC email address, as explained in my previous reply.
Best regards
yah I got it, anyways thank you for the reply. It would be great if you can give us the solution for the above-mentioned queries too.
Hi @Jyotshna,
For calls, you can find the documentation here: Make calls from the HubSpot mobile app
If it’s not documented there, it’s unfortunately not supported.
For text messages, I’m not aware of any features that have been developed and which would automatically record in HubSpot. As far as I know, you need to manually log those activities: Create or log activities on a record
Best regards
Thank you @karstenkoehler for the links..
This would be a fab enhancement to HS’ functionality. I have a new customer on board and their sales teams out on the road a lot so tracking app interactions would be great and save so much time.
I’ve ticked up up vote, need more folk to do this too - how many to get it on the enhancement review list please?
Thank you - Alison
