With the new app design, I now have visibility to view attachments directly in deal properties. However, I did come across one bug — if a user does not have permission to edit a deal in a specific stage, they are unable to view the PDF in the deal property. They can see the link, but the PDF is only viewable when going into ‘Edit deal’ mode.
I’ve come across similar permission-related behavior with deal properties. It sounds like the attachment visibility is being tied to edit access, even though viewing the PDF shouldn’t require permission to modify the deal. Ideally, users should be able to open the attachment in view mode while edit permissions remain restricted.
