Viewing Customer properties

We have around 50-60 properties exported from our accounting program into Hubspot for each customer (such as sales by each month for the past 3 years and sales by YTD). We need an easy way for the sales guys to view these properties when we are looking at a customer in Hubspot (to see if the customer is maintaining sales, ahead, behind, late on payments etc).

What is the best way to view this information?

Is there a way to click a link directly to a spreadsheet or a form, or is there a program/app that will allow us to take the specific fields/properties from Hubspot customers and dislay them in a popup window?

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Bob

@BComer Do you know if these properties were put into a group when they were created? If so, you could view all properties on the contact level>Look at the group and you will see the complete compilation of every property tied to that group.

If this post helped to solve what you were looking for, please mark this as an accepted solution. Happy HubSpotting!

Thanks for the response, but viewing them in that format is not what I am really looking for, it makes it difficult to compare fields. I was hoping to see them in a table format where we can see a column of data for last year and parallel to that a column of data for this year. Hence the reason for asking if there is a way to create a direct link to a table or form from within each customer. Something like the following would be ideal.

How would we view something like this directly in Hubspot?

Thanks for the response.

Hey @BComer there’s not really a way to build a table of historical property values for an object in HubSpot. Really when you store a property value in HubSpot it overwrites the previous one and just becomes “the value”. There’s no real way to report on previous values or growth over time with previous values.

You can see previous values for a specific property if you like (there’s a guide on that here) but these are just for reference really and can’t be pulled into reports.

Theres a popular enough feature request for this however which I’d definitely recomend giving and upvote and providing some context for the product team if you can!

Tom, thanks for the response. I was thinking about this issue this morning and a perfect scenareo for us would be if playbooks (or something similar) would allow us to dynamically fill in fields with properties. This would be a popup screen with information specific to the customer. I know it cant be done currently in Playbooks, but if thee was a similar program or utility that would allow this it would be exactly what we needed. If you have seen anything similar please advise and thanks for your input on this subject.

@TomM2 thanks for the response. I looked into the feature request you suggested, but still not what I am looking for.

Let me ask this in a slightly different way.

Is there a way to add a file link to a customer in Hubspot (“similar” to the attachments section , that will allow us to click the link that will then open a sheet (such as a google sheet), without having to download the file?

Thanks
