Hi,

Every time I log in to my supervisor’s Hubspot account, it will ask for a verification code sent to her phone. We are signing in via Google by the way(see the image below). Is there a way to turn this off or maybe an option that Hubspot can recognize my device? It’s annoying that I need to ask her for the code every time I sign in using her account(her account is a Marketing Hub prof btw)

Hi @moree20,

Besides what you’re seeing in the user interface (remember this device etc), there aren’t any additional options, no. These processes are designed to make it harder for people to access an account that is not theirs.

Is there a reason you’re not invited as a separate user in HubSpot? [Add HubSpot users](https://knowledge.hubspot.com/account-management/add-and-remove-users)

Best regards

Yes, no other options, just the code it’s asking for. I am using her account to access a specific feature that’s only available to the plan that she has like the Sequences. Is there a way for me to access that feature using my own Hubspot account? or anything that would solve this issue of getting a code.
Thank you very much.

@moree20 additional sales professional seats can be purchased, yes. Once purchased, such a seat can be assigned to you: [Assign and manage seats](https://knowledge.hubspot.com/account-management/manage-seats)

HubSpot access should not be shared and HubSpot doesn’t plan for access sharing. The two factor authentication is required - so it’s either purchasing an additional seat or accepting the 2FA, unfortunately.

Hey @moree20

so this a 2 factor authentication to protect the user from being hacked.

I’d suggest your boss (or any superadmin) give the permissions or assign a paid seat for you

if using sequences is part of your day-to-day taks.

To change the seat assignation

they should go to settings\>users & team \> Seats tab.

If the only option you have is to only user her user

then to de-activate the sms

go into settings\> general \> Security tab \>remove SMS

PS: I wouldn’t advise on turning this off because if at any point she has problems with the login/passwords/account access/email

no other option of verification 'd be possible.

hope this helps
