# Verification Code Expiration

Hello,

I was sent an email with a verification code, and it says the code will expire prompty - how long does the code last before it expires (10 min, 30 min, 24 hours, etc)?

HubSpot verification codes have a 10-minute expiration period for security purposes. If the verification code is not entered within this timeframe, a new code will need to be generated. It’s essential to make sure that the verification code is entered promptly to complete the verification process.
