Various contacts see my name instead of theirs

Hi there,

Since a few weeks I receive e-mails from our customers that they see my name instead of theirs. I use {{ contact.firstname }} and it always worked until now! As far as I can see it happens completely random.

Is there a way to fix this?

Hi @HSpies,

Can you navigate to the affected contact records and check the first name? If the first name of those contacts is in fact yours, can you check the history of that property, as explained here?

Alternatively, have you maybe set your own name as default value for the first name personalization token?

thanks for the quick reply! I looked it up and the history of the contacts are fine, their name is correct (not mine)

The default value for the first name personalization token was my name.. thanks a lot, you saved me! :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:
