Variables in Links/URLs in Sales Sequences & Templates

Unlike other sales engagement/sales automation platforms - CRM variables cannot be placed into URLs or links - preventing marketers/sellers from creating personalized experiences for their prospects.

In the marketing hub this can be achieved through a similar format to this but currently it cannot be done in Hubspot Sales

How can this not been dealt with?

+1, this is one of the most basic email sequence features! Did anyone find a workaround yet?
