I am trying to build one marketing email that will be deliverd to about 10,000 customers. In the email, there will be a button or hyperlink that, when clicked, it would land on a dedicated salesperson’s landing page. The salesperson will vary from one recipient to another. How do I create a variable destination for a button or hyperlink? The data set will contain the recipient name, their email address and the salesperson’s URL. The URL will be assigned to a custom Contact property, and it is my hope to assign the URL as a variable in either a button or a hyperlink.

Hi @JoeDeLoria,

If you have a Marketing Hub Professional subscription, you can use smart rules to achieve this: [Create and manage smart content rules](https://knowledge.hubspot.com/website-pages/create-and-manage-smart-content-rules#add-smart-content-to-your-marketing-emails-marketing-hub-professional-and-enterprise-only)

Your first step would be to create an active list for contacts belonging to each sales person / to be sent to a sales-person specific page.

If you do not have a Professional subscription, you still need to create these lists. Without smart rules however, you would have to send one email per sales person. (If that’s the case: Don’t shoot the messenger.)

Let me know if you have any follow-up questions!
