A suggested improvement is to introduce a button data field for Hubspot objects. Adding a button would significantly enhance the user experience, particularly for data enrichment workflows. Buttons could be related to enrolling a record in a workflow or triggering enrichment of smart properties.
Currently, enrichment can be triggered by selecting the smart property, automations, or by using existing fields like dropdown field (e.g., “Enrich Now”) that users select manually. While these approaches work, they become a bit clunky. Once a record has been enriched, the data can quickly become outdated, and re-triggering the same processes can feel cumbersome.
We have already implemented these workarounds, but a more elegant and user-friendly solution would be a dedicated button that users can simply press to initiate enrichment or workflow enrollment. Perhaps with a confirmation pop-up, but this is not a must. Each click would trigger the smart properties to run again, ensuring the latest data is retrieved without friction.
