Hello, I have a question. When creating emails in HubSpot, we tag our links using standard UTM parameters along with HubSpot parameters, for example:

[https://hesfintech.com/blog/hes-fintech-rising-star-bnpl-software/?utm\_term=september&utm\_campaign=14387560-Digest&utm\_source=hs\_email&utm\_medium=email](https://hesfintech.com/blog/hes-fintech-rising-star-bnpl-software/?utm_term=september&utm_campaign=14387560-Digest&utm_source=hs_email&utm_medium=email)

After publishing an email, I keep seeing an alert saying that third-party links might interfere with proper tracking. I’m not quite sure what this means — should our links include only HubSpot parameters? In this case, I’m concerned that tracking in Google Analytics might be inaccurate.

Hi @EZhied,

Bu default, HubSpot applies its own parameters - but you can change that here: [Manage marketing email open and click tracking](https://knowledge.hubspot.com/marketing-email/manage-your-marketing-email-account-settings#configure-tracking)

The settings page itself does a great job of showing and explaining the different options.

Best regards!
