During the last CMS for Marketers AMA hosted by Nextiny, one thing that @gabriel-nextiny said that really stood out to me was how complicated many marketers make SEO, but in fact, it is actually quite simple. :thinking:

:light_bulb:The conversation about themes and SEO helped inspire an article I guest authored for Brandsensations, called Speed Up Your Website: HubSpot CMS Tips to Build Pages Efficiently.

I’m all about efficiency, so I broke a few rules to combine two hot topics:

Sharing here hoping to not only help other marketers new to the HubSpot CMS become more efficient with using themes, and also to start a conversation about other tips & tricks for improving site performance that can be incorporated into the site-building process.

SEO is a lot simpler than SEO people want you to believe! Let’s demistify SEO together!

Step 1: Pick a great CMS platform that has embeded SEO features (like the HubSpot CMS Hub)

Step 2: Pick a well design and developed template that was built with SEO in mind (speed, structure, etc).
