Using HubSpot blog & landing pages

Hello,

We just got the marketing pro package and want to use the landing pages and the blog articles feature.
The problem is that these are not being hosted on our website.
Anyone can help me on how to do this?

Hi @miguelobenan if you’re website is hosted elsewhere, you’ll want to connect a subdomain to HubSpot.

Your main domain will stay associated with your website and you’ll using something like info.domain.com for your landing pages or blog.domain.com for your blog, etc.

Subdomains are not directly associated for SEO purposes so you’ll want to make sure you’ve connected both to your Google Search Console to ensure Google understands the hierarchy and that the subdomains are related to your main website.

If you don’t want to use a subdomain, you can also choose a similar domain, I’ve seen a few companies doing this instead - so their website is domain.com and then for blog and landing pages they’re using a complementary domain like learnaboutdomain.com. This approach is vastly different, but with the changes to SEO and new AI integrated search it is more appealing to the user and less “harmful” to your SEO strategy.
