Dear Hubspot Marketing colleagues

As a new user I can see that it is possible to create new email marketing templates from within Hubspot but I can’t see if it is possible to import and use existing .eml templates?

Can anyone help?

Kindest regards

Ian

Hi [@Ian\_Nairn](https://community.hubspot.com/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/234918),

This is unfortunately not possible. If I remember correctly there used to be an option for importing existing HTML but this has since been deprecated. Email templates can now either be created [through the layout editor](https://knowledge.hubspot.com/design-manager/create-page-email-and-blog-templates-in-the-layout-editor) (learn more in this [Academy lesson](https://academy.hubspot.com/lessons/building-hubspot-cms-templates)) or in the [drag and drop email editor](https://knowledge.hubspot.com/email/create-marketing-emails-in-the-drag-and-drop-email-editor).

Hope this helps!
