I am looking for suggestions for the best platform for prospects to book meetings. Initial thoughts are Calendly of course. This is something we will need to live in WP Engine.

Does anyone have experience/advice on connecting Calendly to WP & HubSpot? I don’t want it to be too complicated so that data is lost. I also am interested in how different it would be from using HubSpot meetings.

Since the HS tool is already included in the plan and doesn’t require an extra charge, would that be easier? Can I embed that on a WP Engine page? Or can they only be used on a HS landing page?

Open to suggestions and feedback from any experience using these tools.

Thank you!

Hey @GSchuster, thanks for reaching out!

There is [a pretty solid native integration between HubSpot and Calendly](https://ecosystem.hubspot.com/marketplace/apps/sales/scheduling/calendly-199720), but you may run into limitations with data mapping and such depending on how many calendars you would be creating.

Honestly, I would recommend using [HubSpot Meetings](https://knowledge.hubspot.com/meetings-tool/create-and-edit-scheduling-pages) here, if possible, since they will likely fit into your HubSpot mix the best. HubSpot Meetings schedulers can be embedded on any website page as long as you have the HubSpot tracking code installed. You can embed the direct scheduler on a WP page, use a button that directs to the scheduling link, or a combination of both!

Here are some other plusses to using HubSpot Meetings links:

- Data pre-population — you can configure your Meetings link forms to pre-populate with known information from the HubSpot CRM
- Easier reporting — there are a bunch of recipe reports on meetings booked through HubSpot
- Reminders — you can configure any number of reminder emails days, hours, or minutes before they meeting occurs to help improve show rates
- Consolidated tech stack — you get to use a tool that’s already available to you in HubSpot vs paying for, integrating, and managing a separate tool

Unless there is functionality you need that Calendly can offer but HubSpot can’t, I would stick with the HubSpot solution since that will play the nicest with everything else you have going on.

Those are just my thoughts, but hopefully they help get you started!
