# User notification / workflows: option to send plain text emails please

Please give us a button to switch to “plain text email” when using a workflow that triggers an internal notification to HubSpot users.

Reason: we’re sending notification mails to our IT department that wants to parse these emails and automate things further. They neither need nor want HTML and email traffic can be quite large in our workflow.

I’d like to add that option to the general email notifications settings as well as in specific workflow automations.

Does anybody know if they’ve done this?  
It seems borderline retarded to force internal emails and notifications to have HTML as a default. Surely it’s \*more\* effort to do that than not?!?!

I’m new to hubspot but their obsession with tracking \*evcerything\* is really grating on me.
