# User Level Call Recording

Hubspot needs to allow call recording to be done on the user level and not limited to having a “one size” fits all feature for you entire team. We have a CS Team that needs to record calls and track input from our clients and a Sales Team that doesn’t need or want to record calls. We are not able to enable the call recording feature for specific teams or users - we are only give an all or nothing approach which is not helpful.

It would be great if Hubspot would do an easy fix of making this on the team or user base level for permission.

+1 from me too! It’s a real pain not being able to control this at the user level. We need to record support calls, but for inbound general inquiries and conversations, as a founder, I need these turned off for me. Basically, it makes hubspot connected numbers unusable for 50% of what we need to use it for.

We have sales team active across multiple countries and the regulations for call recordings vary so per users setting is needed
