Hi,

Since February 8th I have been experiencing this problem when, as an api, I try to associate a company with a deal.
I tried reinstalling the app but to no avail.
I updated/recreated the privateApp but nothing.
The error persists.

curl --location --request PUT ‘[https://api.hubapi.com/crm/v4/objects/deals/10939772138/associations/companies/10018301915](https://api.hubapi.com/crm/v4/objects/deals/10939772138/associations/companies/10018301915)’ \
--header ‘Content-Type: application/json’ \
--header ‘Authorization: Bearer pat-\*\*\*-\*\*\*-\*\*\*-\*\*\*-\*\*\*-\*\*\*’ \
--data ‘[
{
“associationCategory”: “HUBSPOT\_DEFINED”,
“associationTypeId”: 341
},
{
“associationCategory”: “USER\_DEFINED”,
“associationTypeId”: 38

]’

Hi, @GPaglia 👋 Thanks for your question. Looking at recent support tickets for similar issues, one potential cause is related to the User who created the Private app token. Do you know if the user who created the Private App originally is now a “deleted user”? You could also test this by making a new Private App yourself, or have an active user in the portal do this, with the same scopes and then make your request again.

Talk soon. — Jaycee

Tnks [@Jaycee\_Lewis](https://community.hubspot.com/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/127074),

Yes, I had read these threads too.

I have already uninstalled and reinstalled the app, but nothing has changed.
It was only used for webhooks, so I completely eliminated it and used privateApp’s direct webhooks.
Nothing.
I created a new privateApp, reconfigured exactly like the previous one. But nothing.

I would like to point out that the problem appeared mysteriously starting from February 8th (and no interventions were made on the users).

Did you ever find a solution for this? Currently experiencing the same issue.

I’m having this same issue with our API in our Private App. I can’t reinstall or install the new app because it is very custom and the users who are the current owner of the app were the same owners in the past. Have you found a solution?
