I imported a blog with the new smart tool a few weeks ago, and have since then added a few new posts. However, recently I noticed that the imported posts are found under
while the new posts are found under
Obviously I want all posts to follow the second scheme. However, the file and design manager don’t offer access to the blog files. How can I make sure that all blog posts are organized in the same folder?

You have to access the blog settings to do that.
I attached few screenshots for your reference.
You will get a pop-up message like this while clicking Save
Note: All the existing blogs under “homepage.com/blog/post-name” will be modifed
to homepage.com/post-name
(I believe it will affect your SEO since you altering the url)

However, the slug setting is already “”. As I described above, the new posts are correctly found under blog.com/post-name, but the imported posts still remain under blog.com/post/post-name.

What @Venki wrote above should’ve worked but if it’s already empty, try going into a post that has /blog/post-name and see if you can remove it within the settings.
If not maybe try adding a slug in the settings and then removing and publishing to see if it removes it on the imported posts.

indeed, the url of a post can be changed in the settings. Techincally speaking, this is the solution to my problem, even though there are more than 50 posts that need to be changed this way.

Got it so if you don’t want to manually change the 50 posts I believe you could set up a URL redirect and redirect anything that lives at /blog/post-name to the top level assuming if the blogs are always going to exist at the top level domain.com/post-name
