upload file from Hubspot to drive

I have a workflow where I create a PDF file whenever a form is filled using the PDF CreateMate app. Now I need to save the file in a Google Drive. Maybe with Zapier.

Any suggestions on how to do that?

Hi @SMomo ,

I believe you are on the right track here - I wanted to check if you could use any native HubSpot functionality, but there were always limits. Zapier would be the best path forward for this.

Have a great day!

Hi @SMomo! PDF CreateMate isn’t directly available in Zapier, but you can still make this work. When PDF CreateMate generates a PDF, it stores a link to the file in a HubSpot property on the record. You can use that URL in Zapier to save it to Google Drive:

1. In Zapier, set HubSpot as the trigger, use “Form Submission” or “Contact Property Change” (triggered when the PDF URL property gets populated)
2. Add a Webhooks by Zapier step, use “GET” to fetch the PDF file from the URL stored in the HubSpot property
3. Add a Google Drive step, use “Upload File” and map the file from the previous step, then choose your destination folder

The key is making sure PDF CreateMate is writing the PDF link back to a HubSpot property, which it should be doing by default. You can verify this by checking the contact/deal record after a test submission.

Hope that helps!
