# upfront billing - quotes

My team is trying to to handle non standard contract lengths that need to be billed up front, still reflect correctly in arr/mrr reporting - we are trying to avoid manual rework and backtracking that we currently do after the quote is published.

- Can we create a new billing frequency (e.g., “Fixed Term – Upfront”)
- Can quote templates be modified to reflect total contract amount only, not broken down by month?
- Are there workflows or custom properties that can bridge quote and deal reporting to automate ARR/MRR logic?
