Updating an AB Email

Hi there,

I’m trying to update an AB Email via REST API using this doc https://legacydocs.hubspot.com/docs/methods/cms_email/update-a-marketing-email

But Hubspot responses

What is I’m doing wrong here? Is it possible to update AB Email? What properties are available for update?

Hey, @Smartling :waving_hand: Thanks for flagging this. Here’s my next steps:

  • set up a quick test and reproduce the error
  • reach out internally to verify this is the expected result (that we cannot update A/B emails with this endpoint)
  • request this documentation be updated to note this exception (if correct)
  • I’ll update here with any updates

Hi there,

Found out that AB Email can be updated with `PUT /cosemail/v1/emails/{email_id}`. It is not documented, but we have no way except use them.
