As Bokka said, this does not work on blog posts. However I have found a way that does. On the Edit Blog Post page, click the down arrow next to the ‘Update’ button at top right, then choose ‘Scheduling Options’:
The click the ‘Schedule Update’ button and a date picker calendar will open, with past dates available to be chosen. Choose a date/time then click ‘Schedule’ and you’re done!
