Currently, Unsubscribe in HubSpot only affects marketing email. There should be a setting or unsubscribe explicitly for transactional email too.
Agreed. We’ve had to handle this manually with a transactional opt out list for people who ask to be unsubscribed even when they’re already opted out of all marketing email. Its a pain.
Absolutely. Recipients can get mad if they don’t understand the reason their transactional email doesn’t have an unsubscribe link. very annoying that there’s no way to override this in Hubspot.
