Unpublish form

Thanks @HubGem - it’s another workaround but an on/off button would be so much easier!

I agree! I think it would be super helpful to archive forms that we still want to retain the data, but don’t want it as an active form.

Yes, It would be so helpful if we could archive forms.

Our company could definitely benefit from this!

Completely agree this would help with keeping track of the most current versions of our forms and overall organization!

This would be hugely beneficial and doesn’t seem like it would take much development work either.
It makes no sense that we are forced to delete old forms or keep them live forever

Hoping the HubSpot team can revisit this, soon.

Echoing that this needs to happen. If this is not a planned update, can the HubSpot team provide further clarity as to why? This seems like a no-brainer to all of us…

Whoa…I honestly thought that I was just missing something basic by not being able to find the Archive button. But this makes no sense at all.

Having “archived” forms show up with the active forms is just messy, and it doesn’t make sense why there is no functionality to hide unused forms in the main view. I feel like this is a simple product update that’s overdue- especially when other MAPs already have this. The lack of organizing capability (aka hiding UNUSED assets) in HubSpot’s main views is pretty frustrating altogether.

Archiving forms would be a value add to our organization. We use HubSpot forms to manage various programs, and it would be so helpful to turn on and off forms at will.

There are other Ideas threads that have hundreds of Upvotes and many, many comments, specifically requesting this feature. If you haven’t already, be sure to Upvote these and add your voice there, too!

This is needed!!

This would be such a useful (and simple to make) feature! We currently have 300 forms, one for each course we have been running past 2 years, and it’s a mess. Would love to keep the data there but have the old forms in an archive or paused list.

Yes, we have clients that email the shared link to some forms when collecting data from customers (not lead generation) and they would like to be able to set an expiration date or unpublish the form so on a certain date the form will no longer accept submissions.

Yes, this would be a great option to have! In our case, we’d like to disable submissions on a certain date.

Would be very helpful to have an ‘unpublish’ option. In our case we have reached max. registrations for our program, and want to close the registration, but not have to delete the form. Moving forward this does make a good case for using a landing page and embeding the form, rather then sending out a link direct to the form in hubspot, that way you would have a way to control when the form is live.

It would be very helpful to unpublish a form so that closed or limited attendance events could be closed.

Agreed on all of the above. It would be critical to have an unpublish or de-activate feature for forms, especially since some forms are used as standalone pages and can be accessed at any time by the people we send them to. When our team is no longer accepting responses there is no reflect this easily without deleting the form (which also deletes all analytics and tracking records) or removing/hiding all the fields. We would appreciate it if this could be prioritized in HubSpot’s roadmap of updates. Thanks!

It would be extremely important to have an unpublish or even a de-activate feature for all forms.

This is a function that we’re really needing too! Currently we’re having to use a workaround to hide all fields and submit on the form which isn’t the best.

It’d be great to have the ability to close/unpublish the form and have a message appear advising that this form is now closed.
