Unable to log in due to loop between 2 questions

First time user and unable to log in because I get stuck between 2 onboarding questions: "What is your funding level?" and "Which HubSpot tools are you interested in? Choose all that apply." No matter what I answer, I get the other question appear again and I’m unable to continue.
I have cleared cookies and cache, rebooted the computer, double checked that 3rd party cookies are allowed, and tried on Chrome, Safari, Brave and Chrome incognito. All browsers have the same issue.
I recorded a loom to show what I mean : Hubspot for Startups Program Application Glitch - 11 August 2026 | Loom

Has anyone else had this issue and figured out how to fix it?

Hey @DaniellaR,

Welcome to the community and thanks for flagging this!

Sorry to hear you’re running into this! I really appreciate the Loom video and all the troubleshooting you’ve already done, that’s super helpful.

I’ve flagged this with our Startups team and will follow up here as soon as I have an update for you. Thanks for your patience on this!

That sounds like a page-editor/onboarding issue rather than a browser or cookie problem, especially since you’ve already reproduced it across multiple browsers and incognito mode.

Since this is a first-time account and the two onboarding questions keep redirecting to each other, I’d try accessing the account from a different network or device once, just to rule out a session-related issue. If the loop still occurs, it’s probably something on the HubSpot side with the onboarding state.

At that point, I’d contact HubSpot Support and include the Loom recording, browser/device details, and the fact that clearing cookies and testing several browsers didn’t resolve it. They should be able to reset or bypass the onboarding state from their side.

This sounds like a HubSpot-side onboarding glitch, especially since you’ve tried multiple browsers and cleared cookies/cache. Contact HubSpot Support and include the Loom video so they can reset or investigate the onboarding flow on your account. It may also be worth waiting for their team to confirm if there’s a known issue.

Thanks for the responses, everyone!
The problem got resolved. Not sure how but I was able to log in without any of the onboarding questions.
I did try to connect with support, but in the tier I’m in I don’t have access so I was directed to this helpful community. You have been great support.
Thank you!

Hey @DaniellaR,

Thanks so much for reaching back out and confirming that you were able to continue the flow seen in your Loom!

It looks like our Startups team was able to get this resolved on the back end. We’re glad to hear you’re all set and back on track now.

Please feel free to reach out to the community anytime if anything else comes up!
