unable to connect subdomain to be the email sending domain

hi,

I’ve been working through this for a while and unable to figure out the setup. i have a WordPress website hosted on bluehost and want to use a subdomain and connect that to hubspot as the email sending domain while keeping everything else on the hosted provider.

  • I setup the subdomain first
  • i tried setting up a cname record from the email subdomain pointing towards the hubspot host ending with domainkey.email
  • i added the txt file for dmark
  • I waited 24 hours to check

hubspot isn’t reading that either of these are done so possibly i have setup things incorrectly on the host or i’m not following the steps correctly.

Here’s the [hubspot link to email sending domain](http://hi, I’ve been working through this for a while and unable to figure out the setup. i have a WordPress website hosted on bluehost and want to use a subdomain and connect that to hubspot as the email sending domain while keeping everything else on the hosted provider. Anyone have suggestions on where to go next?

Hey @Charcon

To connect your email-sending domain to HubSpot kindly follow this step-by-step guide here : Manage your email authentication

thanks for your reply. that was the guide that I was already using. I was finally able to figure out that it was on the hosting side with DNS settings

@Charcon

That’s great to hear is your query resolved now?
