Wondering if anyone has experience with this, as HS isn’t sure, which I understand, and we have limited access to the Typeform (VC players with control for startup).
I need to edit the name of a property in HubSpot. That’s it. Not deleting, or changing anything else about it. Just editing the name. But I’m not sure if Typeform will then not know where to send the data currently mapped to that field.
Does anyone know for certain if a property name edit leaves Typeform integration intact, or if this will throw a wrench in it?
Thank you!
Hey @JEpner4
Kindly go through this article here I hope this can help in your case: Use non-HubSpot forms
All data submitted to non-HubSpot form fields will only match single-line text field type properties in HubSpot. Non-HubSpot form fields cannot match with other field types.
You can create form fields or labels to match HubSpot default properties or create a custom contact property to match the name or label of your form field.
Let me know if you have any followup questions
Thanks, Jigar. I had noticed this, and was doing exports and then imports with manual mapping/tagging to accommodate this. We are moving it over to a HubSpot form, to make everything much more fluid in the future, but the concern is losing data in the process if I rename a property. So this question isn’t really about field types, it’s a simple question of whether or not renaming a property will affect how it was mapped in TypeForm.
