So, the HubSpot plugin just installs the tracking code which let’s you capture “Non-HubSpot” forms. Ideally, you’d have as few of these as possible for a few reasons.
- Non-HubSpot forms don’t track views to conversion ratios
- Non-HubSpot forms have to have their labels exactly match the property name or the data is not recorded in HubSpot.
- Non-HubSpot forms can create duplicates of themselves as you make changes to the site, For instance, if you make a site change that changes the id or CSS classes on a form, you could wind up with multiple “Contact Us” forms.
If you have the CF7 plugin, you’re solving for items #2 and #3, but you won’t get 1.
