# Trying to use API in EU

I am trying to get all my user data Synced with another platform. As soon as I try to use the new API or Private Apps key I get denied every time.

I get a “Invalid credentials, please check the details and try again.”

My data is in Europe and it’s a real problem.

Anyone else had this issue?

To confirm, this is happening when you use your private app key that is EU-based. Formatted similar to this? — pat-eu1-5…

Yes it is still happening and the API code is as the one you suggested.
