Trying to host entire website in hubspot, need DNS help

Trying to host entire website in HubSpot.

I have created the pages and are ready to go live.

The domain was previoulsy connected and subdomain has working pages.

But not the root domain.

The website used to be with another provider so the A records in Cloudfare are now wrong.

The Show DNS Records option does not have IP address info.

Where do I find IP address for A records in Cloudfare?

Do I need to reconnect so Cloudfare is fully setup?

Hi @rsalinas,

Can you please clarify the domain URLs you’re trying to connect to HubSpot?

I’m not entirely clear on your domain structure.

Hi and thanks for pitching in.
Currently in HubSpot I have only this domain:
hs.mydomain.com
Under that I have some active landing pages.
And I want to bring the whole website, so need to have:
www.mydomain.com
mydomain.com
The first time I connected my domain I was not using Cloudflare, now I am. To make hs.mydomain.com work I just added the needed CNAME.
Do I need to add another domain entry now using www.mydomian.com in HubSpot so it connects the root and www to Cloudflare?
Do I need to disconnect and reconnect my domain so it gets setup fully on Cloudflare?
I welcome suggestions and thank you for your them.

Hi @rsalinas,

Thank you for the clarification.

Yes, you need to connect www.mydomain.com as a new domain. The root domain and subdomains are treated as separate entities.

If you still need hs.mydomain.com, you can keep both domains active in HubSpot. However, if you plan to move everything to the root domain, connect the root first and migrate all pages. Once everything is set up, you can disconnect the subdomain.

This worked :+1:

thankmyou very much
