Iam having trouble trying to get the Access Token. I have followed the following guides

> **[Accounts Dashboard | HubSpot](https://app.hubspot.com/myaccounts?next=developerdocs&redirect=%2Fmethods%2Foauth2%2Foauth2-quickstart)**

> **[Accounts Dashboard | HubSpot](https://app.hubspot.com/myaccounts?next=developerdocs&redirect=%2Fmethods%2Foauth2%2Finitiate-oauth-integration)**

> **[Accounts Dashboard | HubSpot](https://app.hubspot.com/myaccounts?next=developerdocs&redirect=%2Fmethods%2Foauth2%2Fget-access-and-refresh-tokens)**

and even read this article

[https://community.hubspot.com/t5/APIs-Integrations/Using-Webhook-Deal-Property-Changed-Deal-Stage/m-p/230192](https://community.hubspot.com/t5/APIs-Integrations/Using-Webhook-Deal-Property-Changed-Deal-Stage/m-p/230192)

and watched this video

Im using post man to get the token and it does not work. I keep getting this error message.

 ![Test 1.PNG](https://d2qpr2jzcazej7.cloudfront.net/original/3X/b/9/b90a392153a480c5b204dda02e18c4018a645b89.png)

I looked at my dev app (the only dev app I have) and confirmed my data was correct

 ![Test 2.PNG](https://d2qpr2jzcazej7.cloudfront.net/original/3X/d/8/d84c72b0e2cad19a41e4b2b894adbc2a26bc9804.png)

And It is. I even tried changing the body from ‘x-www-form-urlencoded’ to ‘Raw’ and hit send and still errors.

I talked to support and walked throught his process several times and they were stuck too and going to reach out to others. Anyone got any ideas or insight as to why I cannot get my token?

Hi @wmegenney,

I think this might be an issue inside of postman and how it formats the values if you pasted them in. Would you mind clicking “bulk edit” when looking at the various properties being passed in the body of the request. Ensure there is nothing unusual. See screenshot:

 ![Screen Shot 2020-01-07 at 9.39.10 PM.png](https://d2qpr2jzcazej7.cloudfront.net/original/2X/a/a8283c401ff215ce338f58ac2f5ad31d1d98c777.png)

Let me know if this helps and if not then if you could share what you see (be careful not to include the entire client ID and secret) I can take another look.

Regards,

Jack

Hi Jack, I did as you asked and clicked Bulk Edit. Here is a screenshot. It seems like it should be ok. Thoughts?

Hi @wmegenney ,

Thanks for getting back to me. I’ve spotted the issue. In your request you have “client\_Id”. This is case sensitive and should be “client\_id”. Can you change that and try again please.

Regards,

Jack
