Good day. A team member of ours is having issues connecting Office365 Inbox and Calendar to Outlook. I am not having that issue which is strange. We have already tried clearing Chrome cookies/cache, IE, and Firefox, and also logged out and logged back in but we’re just being redirected to the Hubspot login page instead of the Office365 authentication page.
Also tried connecting using a Chrome Incognito window which got us to a new page with this new error message:
{"status":"error","message":"HubId is not present in any form on the request. Please provide a path param or a query param.","correlationId":"150690fc-c25a-48cc-9921-4d38df3390cc"}
Are there other things we can try? Thanks, cheers.
This type of error is usually temporary and means that the two systems were not able to establish a connection at that time. Could you ask the user to try connecting the email again and see if the problem persists?
If the user still won’t be able to connect the inbox, please ask him or her to reach out to our technical support via the Help button in the HubSpot account. If you don’t have access to support, please send me the user’s email address and your HubID in a direct message via my Community profile - I’ll be glad to have a closer look!
It seems that Microsoft is still requiring multi-factor authentication (for Microsoft 2FA) for some reason, but clicking the ‘Connect’ button doesn’t take us to the Microsoft Authorisation page but just took us back to the Hubspot login page.
We have gotten around this by simply using a different machine to initiate the Microsoft Outlook Inbox and Calendar integration with HubSpot since it’s all cloud based anyway and going back to the user’s original machine and refreshing Hubspot, it will all be connected okay.
Based on troubleshooting steps, the error isn’t with the user’s account in Microsoft 365 or Hubspot but rather in the laptop, despite using different browsers, clearing cookies and cache, and even Chrome Incognito.
Let’s mark this as resolved since it could be a deeper issue than I initially thought plus there’s a workaround anyway. Thanks for your time and have a great day
Cheers,
John
Hi @MiaSrebrnjak
I am experiencing the same issue as above, but I am not sure how to solve the issue on my laptop (I don’t have a second machine). What could I do to solve this issue?
I recently had this issue as well. The thing that finally got me past it was connecting my email from the Hubspot side as an M365 admin. It gives you a checkbox when granting permissions to grant on behalf of the organization. Hopefully this helps someone else having this issue!
