# Triggering External API on Call Object Creation Challenge

# Objective  
When a call object is created, I want to retrieve information about the created call object.

# Intention & Background  
I want to create a summary of calls based on call memos and recording information of the call objects.  
I am considering using an external API to summarize it when a call object is created.  
However, I do not know how to trigger the external API when a call object is created.

# Attempts Made  
I thought of resolving this using HubSpot’s webhook as follows:

## Trigger on Call Object Creation  
It was not possible. I could not select the creation of a call object as a trigger.

## Trigger on Property Value Change  
By triggering on the change of the “Last Contacted” property value, I was able to trigger the creation of a call object, but the webhook is also triggered for events other than call object creation.

You could use [Hooked](https://ecosystem.hubspot.com/marketplace/apps/productivity/connector/hooked-powered-by-unmatched-1966606) for this, have a contact based workflow using a Calls property (number of calls etc.) and then trigger your webhook using Hooked.
