Is there a way for me to trigger a workflow to run as soon as the sequence is complete?

Hi @MMetros5,

There is a contact property called **Last sequence ended date** ,the date that the contact was last [unenrolled](https://knowledge.hubspot.com/sequences/unenroll-from-sequence) from a sequence. You can reference this property in your workflows.

Keep in mind however that a contact might unenroll from a sequence before reaching its end. If you want to exclude early unenrollment, you’d have to make sure none of the other sequence unenrollment triggers are true:

Last sequence ended date is known AND

Recent sales email replied date is unknown AND

Date of last meeting booked in meetings tool is unknown AND

Unsubscribed from all email is not true AND

Email hard bounce reason is unknown

This might still not catch all scenarios but the vast majority of them.

Hope this helps!

Hi @MMetros5 ,
Below are some sequence based triggers that you can use in the workflows. If you can elaborate more what you want to achieve with the workflow, we can workout further.

I have created a simple workflow for you to show that how can you use these triggers :

Hope this helps!

Hi [@webdew](https://community.hubspot.com/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/131510),

The _Last sequence ended date_ is not a guarantee that a sequence was completed, a contact might have been unenrolled before reaching the end.

Best regards

Hi @karstenkoehler ,
I actually asked @MMetros5 if he can tell us what he wants to achive with the workflow, we can help him out accordingly. The example I gave is of cource not the exact solution. I just told him that he can use all these sequence triggers in the workflows.
Regards.

@karstenkoehler

I am trying to make sure that when a sequence ends that I update the contact’s status to “Replied” or “Unresponsive”.

I am trying to see if there is a connected call, replied email, meeting booked, etc. to see if the contact replied to the sequence. Otherwise, I Want to update the contact’s status to “Unresponsive”.

Hi @MMetros5,

In that case, you wouldn’t even necessarily have to consider the sequence.

In a workflow, you could set contacts to “Replied” when:

Recent sales email replied date is known OR

Date of last meeting booked in meetings tool is known OR

At least one associated Activity has Activity type is any of Call

You could set contacts to “Unresponsive” if the value is not “Replied”.

Would that solve it for you?

Is this also applicable to Deals in a Pipeline?

For instance, if I start a sequence in a Deal with a client and they don’t reply, are we able to automatically move them to our “Not Engaged” stage of our Pipeline?
