# Transform Quotes tool into a contract/e-sign tool

We’re a Saas company (ticketing) that charge fees on each transaction, and therefore don’t have specific “line items” that we charge for. Is there any way we can remove line items from a quote? This basically turns the quote tool into a service agreement tool that our customers can e-sign on.

Hi @shaskey,

All quotes require line items. It’s not possible to create a quote without them. You could request this in the [HubSpot Ideas](https://community.hubspot.com/t5/Ideas/ct-p/ideas) section of the community (more flexibility for SaaS companies) or look into [custom quote templates](https://knowledge.hubspot.com/deals/create-custom-quote-templates) which give you more flexibility in the design question.

Thanks @karstenkoehler ,

We just found a solution/workaround for this. Hubspot has recently rolled out quote templates. While you still need to have a line item, you can set the price to $0 and hide it from the recipient so it doesn’t appear on their quote/contract. Has been very helpful for us.
