I’d like to see where visitors are coming from when landing on a specific page of my website, but the website isn’t hosted on HubSpot, it’s hosted externally. I know you’re able to see sources of individual page traffic for HubSpot-hosted pages, but I can’t find a way to see that information for externally-hosted pages.

Hi @vmoses While you won’t be able to use HubSpot to identify the source of a visit to an external page, the platform used to build the page should provide some sort of tracking functionality to surface the source of a visit.

Short of that, [Google Analytics can provide you with some actionable data](https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/6205762?hl=en).

Thank you,

Ed Justen

Thanks for the input, Ed. I do use Google Analytics as well, I just really like having all of my website analytics in one place, and I’ve always found HubSpot tools and reports easier to use and read than those of Google Analytics.

That’s alright, though. I’ll just keep trucking along with Google Analytics and hope HubSpot provides this tool one day!

Tori

@vmoses Stay tuned! We’re always improving reporting and anaytics. Can you add this as a [post to our ideas forum](https://community.hubspot.com/t5/custom/page/page-id/ideaslandingpage) for further comment? Further context around how this would benefit you would also be helpful.

Thank you,

I totally agree.

Having all the information centralised in one place (Hubspot analytics) is better to have reliable statistics and a better access to information.
