Tracking Email Opens & Replies in HubSpot from External App

Hello,

I’m part of the Aomni team (https://www.aomni.com/), where we’ve built an AI-powered Sales Research Assistant that integrates with HubSpot CRM.

Currently, we allow users to create email sequences within our application and use HubSpot’s BCC feature to log emails in HubSpot. Now, we want to enhance this by enabling users to track email open and reply rates directly within their HubSpot account.

Is there a way for us to configure this type of tracking from an external app? Specifically, we’d like to know if HubSpot provides an API or another method to track email engagement (opens/replies) when emails are sent from our platform.

Any guidance would be greatly appreciated!

HubSpot provides APIs that can help track email engagement. You can use the Email Events API to log opens and replies when sending emails from your platform.

Additionally, webhooks can be useful for real-time tracking. Since you’re already using the BCC feature, integrating with our Engagements API could further enhance logging.
