Get your facts in order, dot your legal “i’s” and “t’s” and have the discussion. DON’T PROCRASTINATE! Pro-tip, if you’re unsure what the message or need an outline, feed the facts into an AI tool of choice, I like Claude or Perplexity, and ask for advice including things NOT to so. The one thing that has helped? Listening intently to the other party rather than being hellbent on getting my point(s) across. Often, they know there is an issue, they know why it is an issue, and their role in it.
