The announcement that dealt with fixing the frustration of having minutia of other deals when looking at a specific deal was very welcomed. As far as I understood it was to be released on the 13th. Well… Today is the 13th and it is still frustrating!!
Hi @lovinglife324,
Thank you for reaching out. This new feature was released in two parts. The first is that now you can edit existing engagements (emails, calls, notes, meetings) to choose which contacts/companies/deals that engagement is associated with, and select this for new engagements. The second aspect of this release involves a migration of all existing engagements created before 11/13, which are what we call “implicitly” associated. This migration of engagements to “explicit” associations is currently underway and will be complete in the upcoming days. Until the migration is complete, you will continue to see the old way of associating engagements on deal records, however the process is underway and will be complete in the near future. Once the migration is complete, you will be able to edit the associations on existing engagements on deal timelines if you do not wish for those engagements to be associated with the deal. For more information on this functionality, here is the product release.
Thank you,
Jenny
Does that mean that when in the Deal itself, we we only see the relevant information of that deal, or are we still going to see the none related minutia from other deals?
