Hi all

I have email notifications set up when we receive emails of form submissions and today we received an email notification from Hubspot that had the following message “To view the message, please use an HTML-compatible email viewer!” this is the first time I’ve seen this. Does anyone know why it states this considering we are using Gmail which is automatically HTML?

Hi @sryan1,

This is not an issue I’ve run into before with HubSpot notifications. It sounds like this might be more of an issue with the email system than HubSpot. Does it happen consistently with your Gmail, or has it only happened once?

Note: we use Google for our mail as well and have not had this experience.

It does sound like some sort of a glitch. It could have been caused by something in the email itself I guess, but hard to say for sure. Hopefully, you’re good from here on out!

Hey @sryan1 what client are you viewing this email on? (mail for android, a web browser, ios mail client etc?)
Is this client the updated to the latest version?

Hey @sryan1 which browser is it? Are you using any extensions like an adblocker or anything?

If not my only guess is there may be a server issue or your admin settings may be blocking rendering somehow.
