I recommend signing up for a free HubSpot account that you can use to create a brand website for yourself - it can be a simple website to start with your experience and any work from your degree or internships.
This website would be a great place to showcase examples of your work that you complete as part of your certifications from HubSpot Academy.
You can then practice your digital marketing skills on your own website, by promoting on social, working on SEO, etc.
Volunteering for local non-profits is another great way to build experience and help those in need who can’t afford to pay a full-time marketer or agency.
