Hello!
I need deals to track marketing emails. Meaning having these emails listed on the “email” tab on the deal view. I’ve built some deal-based workflows, they seem to work all right, but there’s no marketing email activity in the deals.
Is this supposed to be like this? Only emails send from the deal are shown on the “email” tab? This is a major major pain because the only way of automatizing emails is with workflows, which in turn only work with marketing emails.

That’s correct and (unfortunately) currently expected behavior in HubSpot. Other users have requested the same for company records already, I’d recommed upvoting the request in the HubSpot Ideas section and commenting with your use case.
