The right price, automatically — and now API-ready
Price Books just got programmable. The public API is now in beta — giving developers and solutions partners full programmatic access to create, manage, and assign pricing catalogs at scale. The UI opened to all Revenue Hub Pro and Enterprise customers last month; now you can build on top of it.
Price Books Public API (Public Beta)
What is it? Developers and solutions partners can now create, update, and manage Price Books programmatically — without touching the HubSpot UI. The public API supports creating and organizing pricing catalogs, assigning products with custom prices, and associating Price Books with deals at scale. Available for Revenue Hub Pro and Enterprise.
Why does it matter? For partners building on Revenue Hub, this is the unlock for real pricing automation. Think catalog migrations from legacy CPQ systems, real-time price sync from an external ERP or PIM, or custom workflows that assign the right Price Book the moment a deal is created based on logic that lives outside HubSpot. The UI is where RevOps configures pricing — the API is how you keep it in sync with the rest of your customer’s stack.

What is it? Price Books give RevOps teams a centralized place to define, manage, and apply custom pricing for different customer segments, geographies, tiers, or any other pricing scenario — natively in HubSpot.
When a rep creates a deal, the right Price Book is assigned automatically based on criteria set by RevOps. Quotes inherit pricing from the selected Price Book, so what’s on the deal is what’s on the quote, every time. Only products included in the selected Price Book are available for reps to add, keeping catalog control tight. Plus, multi-currency price books are fully supported!
Why does it matter? Segmented pricing has historically meant spreadsheets, Slack messages, or blind hope that reps remember which pricing tier applies. Price Books make the correct pricing the default — reps don’t have to figure it out, and RevOps doesn’t have to police it.
