Hello HubSpot team!
The idea is simple - allow us to customize the incoming message which contains the basic info for incoming Conversations in Slack. For those of you unaware, we’re talking about this notification:
As said, even though it contains basic information about the person you’re conversing with, it would be an incredibly powerful feature to have this embed display Contact Tokens, either from previous conversations or newly acquired ones through Chatbots.
For example, an Unknown Visitor starts a conversation, leaving his email, name and country of residence before the conversation is handed over from the bot. Having those inside this opening notification would make it easier for an international sales team to decide whether to pick up the conversation or wait for/notify the appropriate team member of that region.
Simple text fields that we could enter with custom text would be great as well. For example, adding a simple “@here” would make the bot ping all available personnel to check out what’s happening in the Hubspot Conversations channel on Slack.
