Teams and Task Assignment (assign to team, not individual user)

I should be able to assign things to a specific team, not an individual

Right now if I assign something to an individual so the team can see it the team can also see the individuals other tasks.

The way I would want team assignments to work is that if something is assigned to a team (not a specific person) everyone on that team can interact with it (based on their permissions level)

If something is assigned to an individual (not a team) only people with the appropriate permission level should be able to see / work on it and any teams they are part of would NOT be able to see it just by virtue of being on the same team as the individual.

This way if I have for example a CFO, a processing person, and a customer service person all assigned to a team (lets call it accounting) they can all see and work with what is assigned to their team but if I assign something to the CFO the processing person and customer service person would not see it just because they are on a team with the CFO

I do believe this is crucial.

I use the ticket system for suporting clients beign each team assigned to a specific client, therefore it would be critical the tickets created by an individual channel (inbox) to be assigned to a specific team, and not individual, therefore anyone inside that team (usually people from different timezones) can pick them and process the ticket, without allowing someone from other teams to even see the ticket.

I look forward seeing Hubspot team solving this issue soon.
