Hello,

I am seeking a little help with an issue I am having.

I am using the free version of HubSpot and have one team member. Within our contacts I have assigned myself to certain contacts to ensure my team mate does not see them, however, within my inbox my team mate can still see the email threads from those certain assigned contacts. Do you know of any way that could stop this from happening and to ensure that each others email threads are private from each others? I want to be able to see my teams mails if needed but I do not want them to be able to see my emails at any time.

Hi @Lchandler86,

Is it possible that you connected your email to the shared inbox vs personal inbox? That’s the first place I’d check and if that’s the case, you’ll want to remove that connection and reconnect as a personal inbox.

If that’s not the case, it could be based on user permissions. Your team member’s permissions should be set to Owned Only for view, communicate, and edit.
