No matter how i trigger a task within a deal or automation, when I go through tasks - it will bring me to the main company, not the deal where my action is needed. This slows down the whole task workflow, and means manual work looking at associations (and hopefully not accidentally unclicking the deal!), and then looking for the deal.
Is there a way to choose the default record the task will jump to for certain tasks? I’d love if there was a choice when creating tasks/alerts

I’ve just tested this process in my own portal, and it looks like the system defaults to particular objects (contacts, for example), regardless of where an action needs to take place. It doesn’t seem that there’s a workaround currently, as this would be the way our UI is designed.
