Tasks: Clone, Assign to More than One User, Add Watchers, Tags

For the Tasks function, it would be helpful if the following were available which would make it easier to create and filter tasks.

  • Option to clone a task from the Task list and Task Edit popup - currently, no clone feature - all task info has to be re-entered for each new task
  • Ability to assign more than one user to a task - currently, tasks only support one user assignment. For tasks that more than one person should act on or tag team, an additional task must be created.
  • Option to add Watchers to Tasks - for tasks you assign to others, you’re unable to track after creation. If there was a Watcher feature, you could be notified on the statuses of those tasks.
  • Ability to tag tasks for easy filtering within the task list

You’ve got my vote! Three more things to add to this…

  • Ability to add a subtask.
  • Advanced text formatting within the task description (strikethroughs, checkboxes, etc.)
  • Task statuses. Not everything is open or closed. We need a “in progress”, “on hold”, “waiting on info”, etc.

Task Status would be awesome! Currently we have to create a new task for the next “stage” of the task and it gets messy

Totally agree. Hope that the Hubspot team can add a task cloning feature soon, as that would make life so much easier :slightly_smiling_face:
