Hi,

when we add a **task** with a e-mail **memo** , this e-mail (coming from the address **[noreply@hubspot.com](mailto:noreply@hubspot.com)**) always arrives in the **spam inbox.**

We saw that all the e-mails coming from [noreply@hubspot.com](mailto:noreply@hubspot.com) are received in the spam folder.

We also noticed that within the **allow-list** we cannot add the e-mail [noreply@hubspot.com.](mailto:noreply@hubspot.com)

Is there a way to receive the memo e-mails not in the spam folder?
Thanks in advance.
Regards,
BI

Hi @GSignorelli,

Are you referring to the spam folder in a conversations inbox in HubSpot or to your own email client, outside of HubSpot?

If it’s the latter, you need to allowlist the HubSpot email address. This can’t be changed from within HubSpot. (If it was possible, these emails would obviously not land in the spam folder.) If allowlisting doesn’t work, for some reason, you should reach out to the provider of your email client / email service provider to troubleshoot why this is not possible. Allowlisting is a standard functionality and there shouldn’t be any issues.

Best regards!

Hi,

I am referring to the spam folder in the Hubspot inbox.
It is not possible to allowlist the [noreply@hubspot.com](mailto:noreply@hubspot.com) address there.
Thanks in advance.

Hi @GSignorelli,

Adding [hubspot.com](http://hubspot.com) works for me:

 ![karstenkoehler_0-1648112698099.png](https://d2qpr2jzcazej7.cloudfront.net/original/2X/e/ee1ad7d6396639a017ef8f2dbe0f759bd1067315.png)

However, all emails from [noreply@hubspot.com](mailto:noreply@hubspot.com) will be marked as spam, you’re right, I was able to find this: [Manage the allow and deny list in the conversations inbox or help desk](https://knowledge.hubspot.com/conversations/manage-your-inbox-s-allow-and-deny-list)

“these automatic rules cannot be overridden” – Why that is I do not know.

To maybe approach this from a different angle, if you’re working from within HubSpot, why receive task reminders via email when you can [receive reminders via notification](https://knowledge.hubspot.com/settings/how-to-set-up-user-notifications-in-hubspot) (bell icon) or check the task section itself (_Menu_ \> _Sales_ \> _Tasks_)?

Best regards!

Hi Karsten,

is there some other way to avoid the e-mail from the tasks memo arrive in the inbox spam folder, beside the allowlist?

It makes no sense to add a reminder if it ends in the spam and I don’t read it.
Thanks.

Hi @GSignorelli,

HubSpot notification emails are not meant to land inside a conversations inbox again – that’s what in-app notifications are for, see my earlier post.

And unfortunately no, “these automatic rules cannot be overridden”. There aren’t any ways to bypass this in the conversations inbox.

Best regards

Hi @GSignorelli,

Did you see my earlier message? Unfortunately no, “these automatic rules cannot be overridden”. There aren’t any ways to bypass this in the conversations inbox.

At the moment, what you want to achieve cannot be done. Task reminders are not meant to be received in a conversations inbox in HubSpot.

Best regards
