Tagging People or Companies in LinkedIn Images

Hi there,

I understand that the ability to tag people in LinkedIn post copy is limited by the LinkedIn API. The workaround that works for me is to first publish via HubSpot and then go to LinkedIn, edit the post and add my tag.

However, there doesn’t seem to be any workaround to tag people or companies in images attached to a LinkedIn post. I can’t seem to add a tag to an image once the post is already published. Has anyone found a workaround?

Unfortunately @hidanya the only workaround I’ve found is to comment and tag the folks I wanted to tag. :upside_down_face:

Thanks Dan! I’ve done that on occasion too. Not quite the effect I wanted, but I think it’s all we can do for now!

@JenBergren good to know it’s not just me. Looks like the comment tactic is the only solution at this point. It’s annoying, but it gets the job mostly done.
